Jumia announced that the event for this year will run between the 5-30th of November of 2021 – with special offers every Friday in November. Every year, during the Jumia Black Friday event, Jumia customers online, compete to get the best deals (massive discount) on various categories of products in electronics, fashion, home and sporting goods, toys, video games, appliances, tv sets, tablets, smartphones, laptops and a lot more.

Phone Treasure Hunt
If you are looking to buy a smartphone during this black Friday from Jumia, you should watch out for the Treasure hunt. The treasure hunt happens every Friday from 12 am – 6 pm. What’s interesting about the treasure hunt? There will be discounts as high as 99% on smartphones listed. For instance, Jumia says you can get the iPhone 13 for just ₦6,850 during the treasure hunt.
Here are the treasure hunt rules to keep in mind:
- Only one smartphone is listed for every treasure hunt, and the lucky customer will get it at a whooping 99% off.
- The treasure hunt product is hidden randomly on the website. For instance, an iphone 13 can be hidden in cusmetics category.
- Date & time is Friday by 12AM midnight and 6PM
Here are other things to know:
- Winners will need to be physically present at the Jumia Corporate office to claim their item.
- Jumia says the winner most agree that his/her pictures can be used by Jumia for promotional purposes.
- Eligible winners must verify identity online with an account on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
